Continuing on with my SRP Report I was able to finally graph my results and do my discussion and conclusion.

With my graph I decided the best option would be to do a column graph as it described what I wanted to show for my experiment in my graph.

In my discussion we were to talk about any trends that were evident in our experiment, accuracy in our experiment, reliability of our experiment, validity of our experiment, and how we can fix problems shown in our experiment.

My discussion went as follows:

Trends that is evident in this experiment show that Panadol and Panamax dissolve around the same time making it more evident that Panadol and Panamax can both dissolve at the same rate in the stomach. Hydrochloric acid is the most dominant acid in the stomach meaning it would be ideal to use hydrochloric acid as it would be what the tablet would dissolve in, in the digestive system mainly in the stomach. This experiment is accurate as it was capable to use appropriate equipment for the experiment, e.g. measuring cylinder to get the amount of hydrochloric acid. Under the same conditions this experiment was performed this experiment 3 times to be reliable. In this experiment there only had one independent and dependent variable while the rest were controlled, this makes this experiment valid. Problems that occurred in this experiment include the fact that the Advil tablet didn’t dissolve creating problems as it was a liquid capsule. To substitute for this I decided to use aspirin instead as it was still a tablet I could have used.

In my conclusion we were to sum up our experiment.

My conclusion went as follows:

The hypothesis was incorrect as, the Advil tablet did not dissolve at all and shows that the aspirin tablet dissolves the fastest being the best medication for fast pain relief.
